Building a new creative bridge between Manchester and Japan.
Resonant Lines is an ambitious international music, education and cultural exchange connecting two of the world's most distinctive creative communities: Manchester and Japan.
Developed by Damian Morgan with partners across music and higher education, the project brings together artists, educators, industry professionals and institutions to create new opportunities for collaboration, performance, songwriting, education and documentary storytelling.
Drawing on relationships developed in both the UK and Japan, Resonant Lines explores what happens when two very different music cultures meet — creating lasting connections rather than a one-off international showcase.
I’ve known you for several years now, both professionally and as a good friend. I can always rely on you to provide sensible advice all delivered with a smile and a good humour.
